NAFI staff members in New York, Connecticut, and Rhode Island have a tradition of sharing “gratitude grams” with one another each year during the Thanksgiving season. We highlight the messages of appreciation on social media, and this year we began sharing some of them on the website, too. Here’s the second batch, and make sure to look at the first round.
Fay Williams (NAFI NY)
With a heart of gold and a spirit for change, Fay is a wonderful asset to the Wraparound Program. From transitioning across roles during the pandemic, to sharing positivity and blessings with the team, Fay has the ability to make anyone and everyone feel important in their capacities, strengths, and work! Fay is able to turn any challenge into a solution and shares her efforts across the team without reservation. Thank you for being patient and flexible!
Fay, I am grateful for your patience and perseverance. I am thankful for how quickly you jumped into your new role without hesitation. I’m so excited to see you flourish in Home Finding. You have an amazing talent working with our Foster Parents and I’m grateful to have you on our team.
Joseph Matham (NAFI NY, not pictured)
Joe is such a team player. Pandemic or not, he is always willing to help a co-worker out with a transport or even to respond in-person during on-call. He always does it with a smile on his face. The Wraparound Program is fortunate to have him as part of the team amidst all the transitions it has experienced. Thank you for being you!
If you look up team player in the dictionary, you will see a picture of Joe. From covering cases, to doing a transport, to his willingness to help with on call, Joe is always there for his team. Without a second thought, Joe will volunteer his assistance. I am grateful that you are on our team!
Anne-Marie Armstrong Lema (NAFI RI)
A huge shout out to Anne-Marie Lema, RI Office Manager, who continues to go above-and-beyond to ensure that our residential programs have what they need to stay safe and healthy. And she always makes sure our community-based and foster care programs have what they need to do their jobs successfully! Thank you for all you do Anne-Marie.
Many thanks to Anne-Marie. Her support to the RI Residential Programs during COVID 19 has not gone unnoticed. Thank you Anne-Marie, for always making sure we have what we need!
Karen Cox (NAFI RI)
Karen Cox and the Main Street Team, thank you for all of your creativity and team work. Even with all of the challenges 2020 has presented, you keep a positive attitude and find new ways to keep the team connected and the boys motivated in treatment. Many Thanks!!
