Executive Director

Amy began her career with NAFI in 1996 as a Community Caseworker supporting youth and families across Connecticut. Early in her tenure, she discovered a deep passion for working with adolescent girls in residential treatment settings, dedicating many years to the development and implementation of innovative, gender-responsive programming. Over the course of her career, Amy held numerous leadership roles within congregate care, including Family Worker, Assistant Director, Director, and Project Director, where she became widely recognized for her commitment to trauma-informed care, staff development, and positive outcomes for young people and families.

In 2006, Amy transitioned into agency-wide leadership roles, serving first as Director of Training and Development, then Director of Operations for Connecticut, and later as Assistant Executive Director for NAFI Connecticut, New York, and Rhode Island. In these capacities, she strengthened organizational practices, enhanced program quality, and reinforced NAFI’s mission-driven approach to care and service delivery while supporting quality assurance systems to ensure individuals and families received the highest caliber of care.

In 2026, Amy stepped into the role of Executive Director for NAFI Connecticut, New York, and Rhode Island. In this leadership position, she provides strategic oversight and operational leadership across the region, championing quality assurance, program innovation, and organizational growth. Amy remains deeply committed to ensuring that every individual served by NAFI receives compassionate, high-quality, and culturally responsive care, while fostering environments where staff, youth, and families can thrive.
